Solutions
Output Management Solutions Maintain and control the complete output in your classic enterprise from just one single point of control. Make sure all your remotely installed printers use the same ressources that you centrally maintain. Since many of these documents still need to be available and totally identically printable in years from now, archiving intelligence should be an integral part of an output management solution. Output Managment Systems originated from the desire for integration of newer technology equipment as laser printers. By using devices being able to place single tiny spots at any place on a page, forms could now be output on the fly in combination with the variable text to print. That started off a consolidation process for all data brought to paper. Why use application programs to generate the output? Why not, now having graphic screens available, interrogate the data to be printed before the output process to check whether this data really was necessary to find its way to paper? Separating ressources for the printing process from the print data leads to other questions like how to make sure these ressource are centrally controlled, with only one ressource library and the logic to download ressources to remote printers after they had been modified. Output Management Systems take care of these questions. They control the printing process of output sent down the line, they supply tools to generate, update and control the printing ressources. In the Open Systems scenario this turns out not be be trivial if a data stream or ressources need to be available on different platforms. Whatever the requirements are COMPAREX with its partners will make sure your problems are taken care of. We use use the following packages:
Document Solutions Often in the datacenter world legacy applications still need to be used to generate output. Often the source to these programs is not available, the authors of these packages are not in the company anymore. So changing these applications is not the option. Use software that filters this legacy output and generate today's style documents integrating up-to-date information as pie charts or 2D barcode from the legacy data. Not only printed output may then be generated. Output may be sent to fax machines instead, may be put on the Web or translated into XML for electronic billing. The possibilities are numerous, as often the requirements are. COMPAREX works with partners having these products available:
